    Eastcastle Place is a highly regarded continuing care retirement community on the East Side of Milwaukee designed for adults age 62+. For 128 years Eastcastle Place has been providing a residential retirement option that encourages health and wellness through an active independent lifestyle.

  • Q: What is a CCRC?

    A Continuing Care Retirement Community provides additional levels of care beyond Independent Living to meet the changing needs of their residents. At Eastcastle Place these additional levels of care include Assisted Living, Memory Support, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitative Services all located within the same community. A major advantage of choosing a CCRC is the flexibility of moving between the available care options within the same community as one’s needs change.

  • Q: What is Masterpiece Living?

    Based on the 10-year study on aging by the MacArthur Foundation, Masterpiece Living affirms that people can continue to strengthen themselves socially, intellectually, spiritually and physically at any age. At Eastcastle Place, you will have a personalized program, based on your unique goals, to help you cultivate the healthiest lifestyle in every facet of your life, every day, as a natural part of community life. The whole community is oriented to support your personal growth.

  • Q: What does it cost?

    The cost of living at Eastcastle Place consists of a one-time Entrance Fee that is 90% refundable to you or your estate, as well as a Monthly Service Fee. The costs are based on the size, style, and location of your apartment home. There are 22 different styles of apartment homes to choose from at Eastcastle Place.

  • Q: What will my Monthly Service Fee cover?

    The monthly fee covers the full range of services and amenities provided at Eastcastle Place, including:

    • Full interior and exterior maintenance of your apartment home
    • Beautifully landscaped grounds
    • All community amenities including access to the Aquatic, Spa and Wellness Center and the Creative Arts Center, with the exception of underground parkingFlexible dining services with the cost of continental breakfast and your choice of one additional meal included per day
    • All utilities including basic cable television, with the exception of phone and internet
    • Weekly flat linen service and bi-weekly housekeeping services
    • On-site security with emergency alert systems in each apartment home
    • Transportation services

  • Q: What is the process for reserving an apartment home?

    An apartment home can be reserved with a fully refundable reservation deposit equal to 10% of the Entrance Fee, a $500 Application Fee that will be credited to your first month’s service fee upon move-in, and the completion of a financial and medical review.

  • Q: How does the $60,000 Health Care Benefit work?

    The $60,000 per person flexible Health Care Benefit is provided to every resident of the Independent Living program that has paid their full Entrance Fee. It is available to be used to help offset costs in the Eastcastle Place Assisted Living, Memory Support, and Skilled Nursing programs at a rate of $1000 per month for 60 months.

    Yes. As a resident of Eastcastle Place, you will enjoy 24-hour security and controlled access to the community, supported by a staff dedicated to your safety. Each apartment home is equipped with an emergency alert system that is monitored on-site for your protection and security.

  • Q: Do you accept pets?

    Yes. We accept pets as long as they are well-behaved and appropriate for our community.
