Historian Presents Milwaukee on Tap at Eastcastle Place

Eastcastle Place senior living community was happy to host a program by well-known Milwaukee historian and writer John Gurda. The author of more than 20 books, many of which focus on the history of Milwaukee, its neighborhoods and industries, presented Milwaukee on Tap: How We Became the Beer Capital of the World.

“Eastcastle Place is located in the North Point neighborhood, and is in the heart of one of our most treasured historic areas. We like to celebrate the area’s distinctive character as well as our building’s unique historic charm. We were excited to welcome John Gurda,” said Bill Eason, director of sales and marketing. “Our dining services team dove right in to support this popular event by preparing appetizer and beverage pairings, and guests had the opportunity to visit with Mr. Gurda. It was really a fun time.”
