Eastcastle Place’s Anticipated Annual Event Christmas in the Castle

It’s an eagerly anticipated annual event. Earlier this month, the residents at Eastcastle Place on Milwaukee’s Eastside celebrated Christmas in the Castle. The special day included a delectable brunch, holiday sing-along, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and more. Sales of the senior living community’s legendary cherry dill pickles, namesake wine, and a variety of raffles raised money for Eastcastle Place’s Treasure Chest. Proceeds from the resale shop fund scholarships for student employees at the retirement community.

The residents were excited to have the opportunity to enjoy the senior living community’s dining room, which reopened last week after extensive remodeling.

“Everyone was pleased to ring in the season with a special holiday concert hosted by the Castle Choir,” said Michael Brever, philanthropy director of Eastcastle Place. “Residents were especially pleased with the success of the fundraising efforts, knowing that our student employees will benefit from the scholarships that will be funded through the effort.”
