Story: For the second consecutive year, Eastcastle Place’s Bradford Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center has received the elite designation as being among the Best Nursing Homes by U.S. News and World Report. More than 15,000 nursing homes nationwide were evaluated. By receiving the “high performance” status for short-term rehabilitation, Eastcastle Place places among the top 21% of nursing homes in the nation.

The short-term rehabilitation rating incorporates measures of quality, including consistency of registered nurse staffing and success in preventing falls. In order to accompany the new ratings this year by U.S. News and World Report, nursing home profile pages were updated to include a patient safety summary reflecting COVID-19 data
“We have a strong, community-wide commitment to providing the best care. This has consistently been how we operate but never has it been truer than over this past year,” said Lindsey Viegut, administrator for the Health and Rehabilitation Center. “In addition to the U.S. News and World Report honor, our Health Center consistently earns the five-star rating from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and excellent survey results from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. We work hard every day, so our residents and their loved ones can have complete confidence that they’re receiving the best possible care. Being recognized officially for this by U.S. News and World Report is a great testament to our commitment and success.”
