Residents and Staff Show Appreciation For Their Neighbors

Residents and Staff at Eastcastle Place Show Appreciation and Care For Their Neighbors and Greater Community

Perhaps the only thing better than being on the receiving end of acts of kindness during the holiday season is being on the giving end. Grateful for their beautiful home and workplace, the residents and staff at Eastcastle Place senior living community in Milwaukee spend a lot of time and energy doing nice things for others. This shows their appreciation, consideration, and caring for their friends, neighbors and the greater community.

Residents and staff held a winterwear drive earlier this winter, collecting warm coats, jackets and accessories which were donated to Casa Maria Hospitality House. A toy drive was also held to provide area children with Christmas gifts. They were donated to Friedens Community Ministries.

The desire to ‘give’ extends to staff family members as well. Delaney Paske is the daughter of Jennifer McCuen, director of human resources. The 10-year old created beautiful holiday cards for memory care residents in Eastcastle Place’s Health & Rehabilitation Center.

“Contagious is a good thing, when you’re talking about generosity,” said McCuen.
