“I definitely recommend checking out Eastcastle Place. My mom moved there a little over a year ago from a condo in Shorewood. She and us (her daughters who all live out of town) could not be happier about Mom’s decision. All of the staff and residents are fabulous!”  – Peggy Roell, Daughter of Eastcastle Place Resident

“There are many things to enjoy here at Eastcastle Place. Some of my favorites: the people – the friendliness of the residents and staff – you feel it the moment you walk in the door; the location – living on the East side of Milwaukee in a walkable neighborhood just a couple blocks to a vibrant shopping area and the bluff overlooking Lake Michigan; and then the food – our chef does a great job of giving us a variety of delicious meals every day with a quality hospitality team that really gets to know you.” – Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, Residents

The IRS has ruled that a portion of the entrance fee is tax deductible as a future continuing care cost in the year you pay it. There are two costs associated with Eastcastle Place in Milwaukee, WI: the entrance fee and the monthly fee.

The one-time entrance fee is an up-front sum to prepay some of the costs that come with offering access to continuing care for life. It also ensures priority access to several levels of continuing care, in case you ever need it. At Eastcastle Place, your entrance fee is based on the size of the residence you choose and the number of occupants. A portion of this entrance fee, typically 90%, will also return to you or your estate upon leaving the community.

The monthly fee covers the services and amenities you enjoy in the community. In addition to monthly fees, residents pay for their own telephone service, medications, therapies, outside medical bills, and personal expenses.
